Who we are

Sulodexide.com is owned and operated by Panacea Bio Chem Ltd, which acts as the data controller for any personal data handled in connection with this website. You can reach the team through the company hub, panaceabiochem.co.uk, or the contact page.

What this site collects

This site sets no cookies and embeds no advertising or social-media trackers. Audience measurement, when operated, is privacy-conscious and cookieless: aggregate event counts only, with no cross-site tracking, no advertising identifiers and no fingerprinting. The categories of usage information measured are:

  • page views — which pages are opened and how often;
  • outbound research-paper links followed (DOI, PubMed or journal links);
  • broad geographic region — country-level only, derived without storing full IP addresses;
  • referral source — the site or search engine a visitor arrived from.

These measurements exist to improve editorial quality. They are aggregate statistics, not visitor profiles. The only personal data this site handles directly is what you choose to send through the contact form: your name, organisation, position, email address and country, as you enter them; the enquiry category you select; the message you write; and your consent, recorded when you tick the consent checkbox.

Lawful bases (UK GDPR)

Aggregate, cookieless audience measurement is processed under the legitimate-interests basis — understanding readership of published scientific content — balanced by design choices that keep the data anonymous and minimal. Contact-form submissions are processed on the basis of your consent, given through the mandatory consent checkbox, and of the legitimate interest in responding to the enquiry you have raised. If any non-essential cookie or storage technology were ever introduced, it would be activated only after your prior consent, and this policy would be updated first.

What this site does not collect

  • No medical or individually identifiable health data is requested, recorded or inferred. Reading about a condition on this site is not shared with anyone.
  • No precise location data.
  • No data from advertising or social-media trackers — none are embedded.
  • No cross-site tracking, advertising identifiers or fingerprinting.

Who processes data on our behalf

The website is served by a hosting provider, which processes standard web-server logs as part of delivering pages to your browser, and contact-form messages are relayed by the Panacea contact system. Data are not sold, rented or shared with advertisers or data brokers.

Retention

Aggregate audience statistics are kept as anonymous counts. Enquiry correspondence is kept only for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting collaboration, after which it is deleted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the contact page. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
