FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is sulodexide?

A purified glycosaminoglycan complex generally described as containing a fast-moving heparin-like fraction and dermatan sulfate.

Is sulodexide one molecule?

No — a complex biological mixture rather than one small uniform molecular entity.

Is sulodexide an anticoagulant?

It has anticoagulant and antithrombotic activity, but its published research also involves the endothelium, glycocalyx, vascular permeability, fibrinolysis and inflammatory pathways.

Does sulodexide rebuild the glycocalyx?

Human and experimental research has reported effects on glycocalyx-related measurements and mechanisms. The extent to which this represents direct reconstruction, reduced degradation or another process remains an important research question.

Does sulodexide dissolve blood clots?

It has antithrombotic and profibrinolytic properties, but it must not be portrayed as an immediate clot-dissolving medicine.

Does it destroy spike protein?

No direct published evidence establishes that sulodexide chemically destroys SARS-CoV-2 spike protein.

Does it remove vaccine material?

No published evidence establishes that sulodexide removes vaccine-derived material from the human body.

Has it been studied after COVID-19?

Yes — endothelial-dysfunction biomarkers in convalescent COVID-19 patients; not a universal long-COVID cure.

Can it replace prescribed anticoagulants?

No such recommendation should be made by this website. Medication decisions require a qualified clinician familiar with the patient’s condition and bleeding risk.

Is sulodexide injectable?

Parenteral presentations have existed internationally; availability and authorisation vary by country. Sulodexide.com does not sell or prescribe injectable medicines.

Does Panacea own sulodexide?

Panacea owns and operates Sulodexide.com and its own research programme. It does not claim exclusive ownership of the international non-proprietary substance name.

Who leads the Panacea research programme?

Bogdan Dicoias, Biochemist, AAC Designer, Laboratory Director and Principal Investigator at Panacea Bio Chem.
